It's not secret. In today's American society, white "well-to-do" males have the advantage on the entire population. They are in no way shape or form oppressed. The most oppressed there could be today would be a transgender African American women. There's something terribly wrong with this entire country.
For me, Leon Festinger's Dissonance Theory becomes ever so relevant when it comes to situations such as these. I don't believe in movements. Before anyone who reads this takes that wrongly, allow me to explain.
I don't believe in movements because, in all honesty, there shouldn't be the need for them. I hate the mere fact that we have to have them at all. No one should believe that they are better than anyone else. At least not till their older and they have lived to tell the tales of their triumph.
The world is changing ever so fast. Human beings are beginning to realize that everyone is different and that's just fine.
Maybe one day the politicians will be tired of waging a war against the oppressed because as history has shown, in some way, the oppressed win, either in a small or massive way. There are more oppressed people than there are those in power.
To you all, I say keep recording documenting hatred. Those who have hatred in their soul have a deeper hatred for themselves. There is so much anger within them that, when they are yelling at putting you down, it really has nothing to do with you; they just hate themselves and can't admit it.
I think it's ridiculous that an officer "having not know that the confederate flag would offend anyone" can be fired but when there is an officer who blatantly abuses his power and beats a black man or shoots one down because they believed him to be dangerous, what happens to them? An investigation is held in order to assess the situation and, to keep them off the streets, they are put on paid administrative leave. I'm sure many of the officers have families that need the income so I understand. The investigation on the other hand? If there is a video or substantial amount of evidence, fire the man.
This is the second action that contradicts my beliefs. Get even. To an extent. By this I DON'T MEAN, eliminating officer who are actually doing their job the right way. I'm saying, begin to show those who aren't oppressed what oppression feels like. In the businesses that don't allow a certain group of people to be served or allowed in, don't allow them to receive business or at least lower the quality of their business. This should only apply to those who are ever so clearly for the opposition and oppression.

Literally Fuck It All
I'm sure that everyone in this world who is well versed in dealing with others knows that people are completely and utterly disappointing. Now, if you know me personally, then cool but, no, I'm not talking about anyone specific and if I was, it would be none of your damn business. It's everyone and no one that I'm talking about. This will probably be the only post that is ever personal considering that one of the favorite pass times is to rant about the government. Anyways, back to the topic at hand.
People. Disappointment. No matter what, I think believe everyone needs to be prepared for the event of someone they love disappointing them. Since it is inevitable in this life we live, I think I'd want to impart my own takes on how to deal with it.
There's always the first option: Cut them the fuck off.
Now, if I was completely honest, this is the easiest option. It's easy to cut anyone off because that means never having to deal with them ever again and not putting up with the crap they give you. I'm sorry if you ever have to put up with a severe amount of crap from anyone. Don't put yourself through that, man.
Second Option: Don't suggest but demand some fucking changes.
I think that many of us love the disappointing person too much to say anything or they fear what the repercussions maybe or if they should even say anything at all. Well, let me tell you, if you are getting frustrated by their actions it's time to speak up. Tell them what you're feeling, what you actually want from the relationship, and if they're not willing to change or prove anything to you, drop 'em.
Third option: Brace yourself.
This should be the very first thing but I'm sure many of you are past the point in which you can brace yourself. If you're that rare person that has yet to be disappointed, then brace yourself. It's bound to happen. Realize that shit happens and you just have to continue on either dealing with it or not.
Guys, I love this world. I think it's beautiful and I love it so much but I can't begin to tell you that it's straining and painful loving it all far too much. I'm in the love with everyone and no one all at once. I'm all for the chaos and peace and I can't tell you how conflicting it all is. People suck but, oh god, are there so many beauties out there. No one is the same and that's amazing.

I don't know this man but I love him and hope he's doing well. He had more soul than half the people down at the Santa Monica Pier (most of whom were on their phones). If you don't see the soul in everyone you meet then are you really paying attention to the person in front of you?

Ground Zero
We do live in our own little worlds. No one is going to see the world the EXACT same way we do. I let my friend experience the world the way I do and I can say this confidently that it's not so bad being in my head.
In all honesty, we do live in a beautiful world. It's our lives and socioeconomic conditions that suck ass. Seriously, look at the world around and realize that it IS beautiful!
I am sorry for the crap that goes on. I can't help it. You can't help it. People suck and most lack the morals that would make this world a great place to live. I wanna define what the American Dream really is and this is how I see it: come to a land of freedom that extends only so far and gain the material items you wish for and toss them aside when you have long taken advantage of the fact that you have it. I look forward to the things I will one day take advantage of having and tossing them aside because at least I'm being realistic. You should be too.
Have a thought of your own, why don't you?
I think it's universal when I say change means something. No matter what kind of change it is, it matters. I'm not going to tell you to be that change. Do what you want. End up in jail if you so wish. Do what you know you won't regret. Life full of regret can be seen from everywhere. If you're not regretting it, someone else is. Keep that in mind.

What does this mean now?
I used to support Anonymous and their goals. Protect the people, protect their rights, defend those who have no voice. But now they are proposing a new political party: the Humanity Party. They also have proposed a new Constitution and a Preamble. This is where my support stops.
I will not support the proposition of Anonymous becoming a politcal party. Who would be leader? And in electing a leader, they would be putting a face to the organization, defeating the whole purpose of the Guy Fawkes masks. The anonymity it was built will be tarnished.
So, no. I will not "Vote Anonymous"

"Stumbling is not falling"-Malcolm X
I find myself going back in time through current means, as anyone would. I find that I am more alienated with this generation the farther back I go and I seem to have no problem with that conserding I have my priorites in order and disregard anything that may be idiotic.
I find myself becoming less judgmental but that in itself looks to be a lie. At least I am trying. The thing parents fail to teach is for their child to know that it's okay to be open-minded. It's okay to realize that you're first thought that comes to mind is merely what society has taught you to think. Anything that may come after is you. What you as a person think. You're second thought defines you and I don't mean to put so much pressure but it is true.
Society is what it is but we have more power over it than we would like to admit, how completely disappointing that is. We could change everything in an instant but we don't.

Only Grey
The stupidity that surrounds this world when debates occur. People think as though they are triumphant above the others but no one is better than another. It's painstaking thinking that gets us to this place of grey. The grey that everyone seems to believe in, forgetting the morals of right and wrong. When was right and wrong clear? It seems to me as if there was always a grey area and never just black and white as some people may choose to see it that way. No wonder a depressed person's world turns grey, void of all color... What takes more effort: giving into good or bad? Either way is easy depending on the person's morals but that is where we meet a paradox, is it not?

Pledge of Allegiance to Corruption
As
any writer may know, inspiration comes from more than just human actions and
the mind. It comes from
the energy we have gained from around us. The only limit we have is where we
think our imagination stops. To be brutally honest, I think this beautiful
world that we live in is tragically beautiful.
Past
experiences make us who we are without the prior knowledge of how it will
inevitably shape us. How safe are we from our own minds, minds that never rest
even we do. We lie still for so much of our lives, more time spent on a bed
than walking. It had been that way from the start but we have legs, we have
arms, we have voice. Writers have our words and words are the beginners of
movements, not actions. Without words, actions cannot take place because there
has been yet an idea voiced to justify the actions. Without a purpose, actions
stand alone and bewilder the world. For what reason might a person see fit to
destroy a system? A system can only perform correctly if the people ensure the
credibility and accountability of said system. The people are in charge. We
should not fear the repercussions of our words, let alone the actions that take
place afterwards. We should love the originality that this generation has
brought to the world and how it can be molded to ensure a better, more free
world. Freedom has needs insurance from the people for the next generations,
otherwise we are digressing into what we broke away from. I speak as a United
States citizen.
Does
our Pledge of Allegiance still stand true or is it this;
I
pledge allegiance to the corporations of the divided states of America and
to all the companies for which it serves, one nations under tyranny,
inconsolable with persecution and intolerance for all.
